What is a Personalised Star Map?
A personalised star map is a very unique and special gift for that special someone in your life, using some pretty amazing (and complicated!) software, we're able to display and print where the stars in the night sky were on any given night in history, within reason... As well as this, we're able to predict where the stars will be in the future.
We'll then use this software to map and grid the constellations on the date you enter through the site, we'll print that out with the other information you enter through the site, including the location, date and lines of personalised text you've entered through the checkout stages. We will then print out your map based on our two designs of maps; Midnight Blue Starmap and Charcoal Black Starmap. We also provide framed versions for your convenience.
But how can you find the star locations?
We use some very sophisticated and complicated software that can use data released by several star catalogues, including HYG, Hipparcos, Yale Bright Star & Gliese Catalogues to plot and position the stars in the sky, that coupled with some very complicated mathematics allows the software to determine what stars would be visible from a specific location on Earth, and plot forwards and backwards in time to print what stars would be visible at a certain time.

How long is delivery?
We do quote up to 2/3 working days to map, print and dispatch your order regardless of what delivery method was chosen. After that we'll ship your order out on whichever service you've specified. We currently offer for UK delivery an economy service, which is up to 5 working days, and a next day express delivery service.
I have a problem, how do I contact you?
No problem, you can either click the help button in the bottom-right hand corner of our website, send us an email here, or drop us a message through our Facebook page here and we'll get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
I'm not happy with my purchase and would like to return it, how do I do that and do you allow refunds?
We do yes, for whatever reason you aren't happy with your purchase, we'll get it refunded back to you no problem. Depending on the problem you've had, we'll try to resolve it before offering a refund, i.e. if an order hasn't arrived after your estimated delivery date, we'll try to chase it up with our couriers first. But we'll always be happy to refund an order if there's been a problem. Simply drop us an email detailing what's happened and we'll get it sorted for you as soon as possible.
